When should I activate my offer?

You should activate your cover before collecting your new MINI, once your Retailer has confirmed the collection date and you have the registration number.

What if my car delivery is delayed?

You should only activate your cover once the Retailer has confirmed the delivery date and registration number. If the delivery date of your MINI is delayed, don't worry, the offer will still be available, as long as you ordered your MINI between 1 October 2025 and 5 January 2026, registered it by 31 March 2026 and providing you activate cover no later than 31 March 2026.

How do I activate the offer?

You can activate your cover online using the specific promotional website address supplied to you by your Retailer.

What do I need to activate the offer?

Your Retailer will provide you with the information you will need including the vehicle registration number, the confirmed vehicle collection date, the Retailer Number and your Order Number.

Is Legal Expenses cover, No Claims Bonus Protection or Excess Assist be included in the offer?

No, but if applicable, Legal Expenses cover, No Claims Bonus Protection and Excess Assist cover can be added and paid for alongside the 12-month free offer.

Why do you collect payment details when activating the offer?

Payment details are collected to enable you to add optional extra covers such as Legal Expenses cover, No Claims Bonus Protection and Excess Assist cover any time in the 12-month offer period and so that you can continue to benefit from MINI Flex Car Insurance at the end of the offer period, if you choose to.

What happens if I need to change something during the 12-month offer period?

With MINI Flex Car Insurance you can manage your policy online 24/7 including updating your details and adding or removing cover.

What if I change something during the 12-month offer period and am no longer eligible for the offer?

Unfortunately, if you make a change to your policy and as a result no longer meet the eligibility criteria for the 12-month offer you will not be able to continue to benefit from the free cover. This will be clearly detailed to you at the time. At this point you will move to paying for your insurance monthly.

Am I entitled to any money or premium if I make a change and am no longer eligible for the offer?

Unfortunately no.

What if I have an accident?

You should report the claim using the details within the policy wording provided when you activate your cover.

Will I be able to earn a year’s No Claims Bonus during the offer period?

Yes, you can earn No Claims Bonus during the 12-month offer period.

What if I sell my car, can I transfer the offer to another vehicle?

No, the offer is not transferable to another vehicle - if you sell your car, you can update your account online and your cover on that vehicle will stop.

What happens at the end of the 12 months?

We will contact you prior to the end of the offer period to confirm your premium so you can continue to benefit from MINI Flex Car Insurance after the offer period has finished. You are under no obligation to continue your cover after the offer period has ended, and can cancel at any time with no cancellation charges.

How to activate your cover.

You should activate your cover at least 48 hours before collecting your new MINI. Your MINI Retailer will provide you with the following information:

  • Vehicle registration number
  • Confirmed MINI vehicle collection date
  • Your unique Order Number
  • MINI Retailer Number (please ask your MINI Retailer for this if it has not been provided)

Once you have these details, you can activate your cover online and subject to eligibility we will set up your 12 months free insurance. This offer may be changed or removed at any point.
